  • Sounds like you weren't a very successful painter. Sorry, it's really hard... you're right though, photography is much easier if you're going for "photo"realism. Cezanne obviously wasn't with this painting, but he could paint more realistically than a photo when he wanted, just like Picasso could.

  • This is not just a problem exclusive to farm workers. As long as we have to compete in the same market place with foreign countries who pay their workers pennies a day, our businesses will never be able to survive while paying a "dignified wage"...

  • Prior to all this, I never knew it was illegal for a police officer to ask for identification, or proof of citizenship... I still don't understand why this even needs to be a law. Seems like common sense.

  • This sounds like something that would be a joke to some people, but would eventually cost someone a possible job. I assume that right now, employers cannot see how applicants "rank"(when they look them up on LinkedIn, or are referred by someone on LinkedIn).
